General Membership Terms & Conditions

Bookings & Payments

  • ●Full payment for each camp is due 30 days before the camp date.
  • ●Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in your booking being cancelled and offered to the waiting list.

General

  • ●All members are expected to follow group rules and campsite rules at all times.
  • ●The organiser reserves the right to amend camp details, pricing, and benefits if required.
  • ●The organiser retains full responsibility for planning, logistics, and final decisions relating to camps.

  • ✓Guest Pass: Receive one guest pass per year to bring a friend or partner to a camp at the member rate.
  • ✓Welcome Package: Get a welcome package that includes a branded coffee mug for enjoying your morning brew by the campfire and a membership card.
  • ✓Community Engagement: Participate in members-only online forums and social media groups to connect with fellow members, share experiences, and organise informal meet-ups.
  • ✓Voting Rights: Have a say in the direction and planning of the group by voting on key issues and event ideas.

Premium Membership Terms & Conditions

Membership Fee

  • ●Premium Membership fee is R350 per person for the full season.
  • ●The camping season runs from September 2026 to April 2027.
  • ●Membership fees are non-refundable.

Discounted Rates

  • ●Premium Members receive up to 15% discount on standard camp rates.
  • ●Discounts may vary depending on the specific camp and costs involved.

Guest Pass

  • ●One guest pass per member per season.
  • ●Must be requested at the time of booking.
  • ●Applies to first-time guests only.
  • ●Guest attends at the member rate.

Priority Booking

  • ●Premium Members receive access to bookings before they open to the general group.
  • ●All bookings remain subject to availability and payment terms.

Voting Rights

  • ●Voting rights are only granted after attending four camps within the same season.
  • ●Voting rights activate after the fourth camp has been attended.
  • ●Members who do not meet the four-camp requirement do not qualify to vote for that season.
  • ●Voting eligibility resets at the start of each new season.
